Free Pattern and Tutorial: I Heart Baking Oven Mitts

I admit I started freaking out when I realized it's only a few more days until the big Xmas.  I hadn't finished half of the handmade items I wanted to - oh well, there's always next year, right?  Then I decided to make something from home - I had everything I needed. I searched for a free pattern for this so I didn't have to re-create the wheel, but I just couldn't find one.  So, I made one and now we have a great pattern to use!

Introduction and FREE PDF DRESS Tutorial!!

I'm so excited to finally begin my blogging journey...again.  I've spent the last couple of years trying to define what I do and focus in on what I really love about crafting, sewing and creating.  My Etsy store PatsycakeBaby has evolved over the years but baby stuff has always been my passion.  I adore organic fabrics and although they are very expensive, I have learned that the quality is what I want for my kids and for all kids. I currently have cloth diapers as my main item along with all kinds of wonderful and natural kid and baby products.  I even have a few things for the moms and dads!

I am a work at home mom with two kiddos who will be 4 and 1 in just a couple months.  My husband and I along with our family run an organic chicken and egg farm here in Sunny Southern California (yes, these are some happy chickens!).  Life is crazy busy but, we wouldn't have it any other way.

A couple years ago when my daughter was finally old enough to wear really cute dresses I started making patterns under the name Freckles on Top.  It's a TOUGH thing to do and I give kudos to all the PDF pattern makers out there.  I love PDF patterns - they are so easy to order and download and make.  I completed a few patterns starting with this one that I'm going to put out there for all of you PDF pattern lovers!! I just can't keep it under cover any longer.  It's summer and all little girls need a summer dress!!

Celebrate with me! Pin it, Like it, Share it with your friends and most importantly share your pictures with me! ;) you can visit my Facebook page here: www.Facebook.com/patsycakebaby
